We would like to see members volunteering to help in one or more areas. The San Diego Woodturners have 250 members and there is a need for all to contribute. We would encourage all members to provide 25-30 hours a year as a minimum level of service. Many of our members contribute many more hours than this year after year.

Please indicate service areas you have an interest in helping with or knowing more about:

Setup before meetings and take-down after meetings.
Helping with audio-visual.
Providing refreshments.
Wood gathering.
Wounded veteran programs.
Encouraging youth in woodturning.
Prepping pens for the Fair, etc.
Prepping tops for the Fair, etc.
Writing/gathering articles for newsletter.

If you have a skill or talent to share that has not been addressed please let us know. An example of a need we have is for someone with tax knowledge to work with our treasurer in submitting the appropriate tax return for the San Diego Woodturners, a non-profit organization. Don’t be shy. We will work hard not to overwork anyone willing to provide a service to our club.

How I can help:

We would also appreciate your input as to what you like best about what we do and what you believe needs improvement.
